This one day conference, to be held on November 9, 2012 in Cromwell, CT at the Crowne Plaza Hotel will address Evidence Based Practices. In the past 20 years, EBP has gone from a fledgling concept to a fundamental basis for clinical practice worldwide. EBP values and builds upon clinical expertise, individual patient values and needs, as well as the best research evidence which can result in better care for clients. Evidence Based Practice is poised to play a key role in social work mental health care education, training, and treatment and this conference will focus on some of the EBP work being done in Connecticut now—as well as practices that are promising for the future.
