| Recovery Month 2002 |
|
NASW is urging chapters and members to participate in National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month 2002 in September.
An information "tool kit" is available to assist in promoting the importance and benefits of treatment and recovery and includes fact sheets, resource lists, event ideas, media samples and other materials.
In addition, members are invited to participate in a series of live Webcasts and Web chats on addiction treatment issues leading up to Recovery Month.
The annual program is sponsored by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Center for Substance Abuse Treatment. The theme of Recovery Month 2002 is "Join the Voices of Recovery: A Call to Action."
