Veterans Employment Transition Act, HR 865/S. 146 - Helps extend work opportunity credit to veterans who have service-connected disabilities

Hiring Heroes Act of 2011, S. 951, - Mandates individualized assessments of which jobs each individual service member could qualify for, and requires the Labor Department to follow through over time to monitor and help improve veteran employment.  Also requires VA to engage with veterans to determine if they are employed 

Veteran Employment Transition Act of 2011, S.146/HR 865 – Helps Vets secure income for themselves and their families, reduce veteran homelessness

Adult Day Achievement Center Act, HR 883/S. 495 - Requires the Assistant Secretary for Aging to initiate a comprehensive survey of current adult day programs that provide care and support to individuals living with neurological diseases or conditions, including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, or traumatic brain injury. Involves veterans as well as other adults who suffer from Traumatic Brain Injury
