NASW Chapters Co-Sponsor Local Workshop About 9/11 and Non Violence

The NASW Metro DC, Virginia, and Maryland Chapters collaborated with Colman McCarthy, a former Washington Post columnist, to offer a three-hour workshop on the one year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centers, the Pentagon, and Pennsylvania. The workshop took place at the National Office on Wednesday, September 11, from 1-4 pm in the Conference Center. It is a day to remember all of those who were victims of terrorism. The workshop seeked to better understand the causes of violence and to consider non-violent responses.
