"Strategies to Succeed in the New Market Economy"
Ronald Dellums and Tyne Daly as Keynote Speakers
WASHINGTON—With Campaign
2000 unfolding and society changing faster than ever, social workers examine how
managed care, aging, privacy and technology, as well as social security and

prominent themes of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Annual
Meeting.
Session highlights cover a wide range of social and
mental health issues from understanding and treating shame as a driving force in
excessive anxiety, the new world of living with HIV/AIDS, critical incident

Century.

worker, among other accomplishments. Dellums will be opening plenary
speaker.
