Dementia Measures Available for Public Comment

NASW has been involved in the development of several dementia quality measures through the Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement. These measures were developed for use by Medicare providers and other health plan providers who perform services with geriatric patients. The measures will be used to improve the effectiveness of care and optimize outcomes for patients suffering with dementia. Below are a list of the measures which are now available for public comment until December 15, 2010. NASW encourages its members to share their dementia expertise by submitting comments online at the following link:
