ADVANCING RECOVERY: Call for Proposals from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

Advancing Recovery:  State and Provider Partnerships for Quality Addiction Care is an $11 million national initiative by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) to encourage treatment providers to use evidence-based practices through innovative partnerships with single state agencies.  This effort is expected to improve clinical and administrative practices that are currently impeding the use of evidence-based practices.

Up to six grants for up to 24 months will be available in the current round of funding.  The maximum grant award will be $180,000 per year including overhead.  Single state agencies, intermediate purchasing entities, community treatment agencies, or provider associations are all eligible to apply.  Each application must represent a partnership involving a single state agency and sufficient community treatment agencies to ensure diversity in treatment settings.

The proposal deadline is May 31, 2006.  For more information go to: www.rwjf.org/cfp/advancingrecovery
