Comment on Clinical Research Questions from the National Institute of Mental Health

Comments by February 9, 2007

NASW’s National Office has received a Request for Information from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) seeking comments. Organizations and individuals are invited to recommend clinical research questions and topics in the following three areas: the Bipolar Trials Network (BTN), the Depression Trials Network (DTN), and the Schizophrenia Trials Network (STN).

Expanding efforts to maximize technological and communication tools, NIMH networks work to accelerate the clinical research process in addressing critical public mental health issues. Positioned to advance quality clinical studies through collegial and collaborative efforts supportive of distinct research projects, the Networks address complex issues through the facilitation of stakeholder dialogue that affects research direction and projects.
