MAJOR FUNCTIONS: Works with all NASW departments to conceptualize and produce web, social and mobile projects. Maintains, edits and designs websites and other digital projects. Understands and helps staff meet Web usability standards on all NASW-sponsored sites and electronic products. Assists in managing NASW's social media presence on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, LinkedIn and/or other popular social media sites. Develops and analyzes integrated digital campaigns. Work activities are performed under project supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Skills: Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Web design. Proficiency in PC and Mac environments. Good teambuilding, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must have a good sense of cross-browser and cross-platform website browser issues as related to HTML Web page layout and design. Excellent project management, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledgeable of and familiar with HTML, CSS, ASP, PHP, MySQL, Fireworks/Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Access, and Acrobat. Bachelor's degree required. Must have a good working knowledge of dynamic database-driven Web site development, working knowledge of digital file formats (gif, jpg, eps, pdf) and their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience developing and maintaining websites, in addition to the educational requirement. Experience with a variety of Web design tools and open source content management systems. Programming languages - HTML, ASP, and Javascript (Not essential, but helpful - PHP, Flash, Flash ActionScripting, MySql and VB Script. Also basic design and layout skills helpful.) Has experience with a variety of web design tools and open source management systems. Familiar with Javascript, Wordpress, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, Mobile Web Design, VB Script, ASP.Net, video editing software and digital delivery best practices in PC and MAC environments
