Lynn Grodzki, MSW, LCSW, is a pioneer in the field of practice-building, showing social workers how to match good business practices with ethical service. Through her workshops and writing, she has become a pioneer in the field of practice-building, helping non-business-oriented professionals develop their private practices. With her guidance, thousands of professionals now operate small businesses that offer them a high degree of integrity as well as enhanced financial success.

In 1996, Ms. Grodzki combined her earlier interest in entrepreneurship with her love of psychotherapy and became a business coach for social workers and other helping professionals. She began teaching her Private Practice Success Program™ and in 2000, published her best-selling book: Building Your Ideal Private Practice. Now an author of five books about practice-building, her newest book is: Crisis-Proof Your Practice: How to Survive and Thrive in an Uncertain Economy (WW Norton, 2009).

Ms. Grodzki is a sought-after speaker at international conferences and her articles appear in national magazines. She is on the faculty of CoachU, a large coach-training organization and the current co-Vice-President of the NASW DC Metro Chapter. Ms. Grodzki earned her MSW from the University of Maryland.
