Call for Nominations for FY 2014-2015
National Appointed Leadership Positions

It is time again for the important task of identifying nominees for national elected positions. The nomination process is by self-submission so if your leadership experience and skills match one of the descriptions for a vacant position, we encourage you to apply. The application process is entirely electronic. Your active participation in the nomination process is necessary to ensure a strong pool of candidates for leadership positions. Your role is vital to the National Committee on Nominations & Leadership Identification (NCNLI) that develops the election slate.

Vacancies for NASW national elected positions as of June 30, 2014 are:

Board of Directors positions include:

• Regional Representatives (2014-2017):
1. I (ME, MA, NH, RI, VT)
2. II (CT, NYC)
3. X (AR, KS, MN, MO, NE, ND, OK, NM, SD)
4. XIII (CA)
• Member-at-Large (2014-2017)
• MSW student member (2014-2016) *to qualify for this position, the student must have a full year left of their MSW program when they assume the position on July 1, 2014

NCNLI positions include:

• Regional Representatives (2014-2017):
  1. I (ME, MA, NH, RI, VT)
  2. III (NYS)
  3. V (DE, MD, DC, VA, NC)
  4. IX (IL, IA, KY)

Please note the following information regarding nominations procedures and the deadline date.
The NCNLI collects and synthesizes information for nominees interested in elected positions.  The deadline date for receiving nominations for elected positions is no later than 5:30pm Eastern Standard Time on Monday, November 4, 2013.
