NASW National Awards Call for Nominations

Nominations for the 2011 National Awards are no longer being accepted.
Information regarding the 2012 awards will be posted in the months ahead.

Awards, and those who may submit nominations for them, are

• Social Worker of the Year – NASW Chapters only;
• Public Citizen of the Year – NASW Chapters, individuals and social welfare organizations;
• Public Elected Official – NASW chapters and members, individuals, and social welfare organizations;
• Lifetime Achievement Award – NASW Chapters and individuals.

Four Receive NASW National Awards

NASW has announced the recipients for its 2010 national awards.

• Jacqueline Jackson Recognized as NASW Social Worker of the Year (3/11/2011)
• Jean Tucker-Mann Recognized for Lifetime Achievement in Social Work (3/11/2011)
• Clementina Chéry Recognized as the NASW Public Citizen of the Year (3/11/2011)
• Eliot Shapleigh Recognized as Public Elected Official of the Year (3/11/2011)
